THE TRUE ESSENCE OF CHRISTMAS

Christmas is the most graceful, joyful, and merriest day of the year. And we are celebrating Christmas on the 25th day of December. Everybody is so very happy in this day even though if their not in their love one's or family. They just enjoying the Christmas with the different activities or outing.
You can feel the true essence of Christmas by sharing, loving, giving, and most of all forgiving the people who made something wrong to you in the past few months. We must forgive them because just like Jesus Christ, He forgive peoples who have made sins. And we must say sorry to the people we hurt. And as a thanksgiving to the people who spend their time and shared they loved to you in the whole year we must give them a simple gift.
So this coming Christmas we must enjoy it. And feel the essence of Christmas. And celebrate your Christmas to your family or your love ones. And most of all you must give love not only on the day of Christmas but on the whole year. And don't forget to forgive and forget so that you can truly feel the true essence of the Christmas.

"FILIPINO-VALUES MONTH"

Last November, we the student of ILOCOS SUR NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL (ISNHS) celebrated the Filipino-Values Month. The theme for this year is "Pagpapatibay ng Pagkataong Pilipino, Tugon sa Hamon ng Panahon". There are so many contest like kite flying, poster slogan, cook fest, quiz bee and sayawit. All students of ISNHS is required or allowed to join in any of this contest. . .
We, the IV-MABINI students won in sayawit contest as 2ND placer. We also won in kite flying contest. And my classmates enjoyed watching the kite flying contest because it is so very enjoyable and funny to watch this contest. And after all this activity we where so happy because we won in different contest. . .

"MY LEARNINGS"

In this 2nd grading period, i have learned a lot. I gain so many things. During the 2nd grading period I have an experience that I can't forget. This experience is when we learned about the notepad. I enjoyed learning notepad because it gives me challenge and experience. And through the help of my teacher I had experience such things like that. I also thank our teacher in TLE because she's so patience to us even though were not listening to her and sometimes were not following her instructions. TLE is very interesting subject. Here you can learn a lot of things. So I'm enjoying my TLE subject because it is very interesting and very enjoyable.....I hope i will learn more this coming 3rd grading period.

"MY TEACHER, MY HERO"

Ever since, teachers are very important to us especially to student like us. They teach children or students everything they know. I really appreciate teachers and their work. Because teachers are sharing their knowledge to students or children even though some students are not listening when they are discussing. Some are busy talking, some students have their own business and some students are maybe sleeping or busy texting.
My teacher is like a great hero. Because everytime they share their knowledge and experiences to us, I gain to them, that this knowledge that I gain will be a great and big help to my future life. Teachers help us to prepare or to make us ready to the future life. That's why I call my teachers as my hero because like a hero, Teachers are helping other people too.

ADAPTING TO DIVERSE SCIENCE CULTURE FOR DEVELOPMENT

Science is systematic study of anything that can be examined, tested and verified. It has developed into one of the greatest and most influential fields of human endeavor. Science has a great effect on the way we live, largely through technology. The things we use or consume everyday, research in food technology has created new ways of preserving and flavoring what we eat. But some of the technological advances that made our life easier or more enjoyable. Industrial and agricultural chemicals pollute global environment.
Somebody said that without science we where not be here living in this world. Today our life is called the modern years because all about of the past are already changes and science changes it. As what they say ,people change and everything are changing. But we have notice that every changes thats made everyday in our life, there so many bad. Some people is suffering from different sick and that's because of science. So because of this developments we are thinking if how do people adapt to this development in terms of their culture. Culture helps human societies survive in changing natural environment.
Cultural adaption has made humans one of the most successful species on the planet . The success of culture may create problems in the long run because from now on, people have begun to use large quantities of natural resources. So, culture must benefit people at least in the short term, in order for it to be passed on to new generations bit it can clearly also harm some people.

WIKANG FILIPINO: MULA BALER HANGGANG BUONG BANSA

Ang wikang Filipino ay mahalaga. Dapat nating itong malaman.Gamitin natin ang wika nating Filipino. At dapat lang na ipagmalaki, tangkilikin, at mahalin natin ang sarili nating wika tulad ng pagmamahal natin sa ating bansa. Huwag nating ikahiya ang ating wika dahil maraming tao na ang nakipaglaban at nagsakripisyo para sa ating wika. Dapat nating silang pasalamatan dahil ipinaglaban nila ang ating wika. Dahil mahalaga na sa isang bansa ay may tinatangkilik na wika. Tayong mga Pilipino ay matutong pahalagahan ang sarili nating wika. Huwag natin itong ikahiyang gamitin.

" MY T.L.E. SUBJECT"

My T.L.E. subject is all about computer especially on Internet . So, for this 1st quarter i have learned so much. I've knowed the Internet Services and Tools, about the Timeline of Internet, the Protocol and last, it is all about blog. At first our T.L.E teacher Mrs. Vera Cruz , teached us to create a blog. She gave us an step on how to create a blog. Then, she teached us on how to post a blog.
During this 1st quarter I have encountered some problems and first I thank God because every challenges or problems he gave to me I'd solved it, and through the help of my teacher Mrs. Vera Cruz and some of my classmates I solved my problems. And I thank them for sharing their knowledge to me. So, through the challenges and problems I encountered I learned more. And through the learnings I gained in this 1st quarter I will apply it to my other subject and to other activities. I will also share my learnings to other for them to gained more about Internet or Blog.

SPEAK PROPER ENGLISH OR FILIPINO ALWAYS WITH KINDNESS

More than 80 indigenous languages and dialects are spoken here in the Philippines. These languages and dialects belongs to the Malayo.Polynesian group of the Austronesian language family. The most widely spoken are Tagalog, Cebuano, Ilocano, Hiligaynon, Bicol, Waray-waray, Pampangan, and Maranao.
English is our international language.So, we must know how to speak in English, we cant communicate to other people. Some are lack to speak in English maybe because they don't know how to speak English or they are ashamed.Many Filipinos know how to speak Tagalog because here in Philippines, Tagalog is our national dialect. Observable fact, there are more Filipino who are speaking in Tagalog. An advantage to it, listeners can understands you and always ready to listen anytime.
English and Filipino are the official languages. Filipino is largely based on Tagalog, with many words adopted from other languages, including English and Spanish. Filipino is a required subject in schools, but English is more commonly used in higher education. English is also commonly used in government and commerce. Many Filipinos continue to primarily speak their indigenous language, rather than Filipino. So, whether it is Filipino or English we should speak it out and express our feelings or thought in the public. Don't be ashamed to speak in English or Filipino.

Nutrition Month:2009

Every month of July, we,students of Ilocos Sur National High School (ISNHS) and other schools are celebrating the Nutrition month. In Nutrition month, there so many contest happens, and all students are allowed to joined to any contest they want, like Nutri Jingle, Cook Fest, Food Fest, Poster slogan and many more. Our theme for this year is "Wastong Nutritsyon kailangan, Lifestyle disease Iwasan "
A people who is healthy does not easily get sick. We need enough or proper nutrition to avoid sick. We should also avoid the the A(H1n1) virus. And one way of avoiding this is always wash our hands and cover your mouth when you cough.
To evade from the so called Lifestyle disease we just need a proper nutrition and we need also strong and healthy body. To become a healthy people, we need to eat nutritious foods like vegetables, eggs, fruits, and many more.
